What makes this different?
Most gyms put weight on a body that is not ready to carry it. We fix how you move first, then load it. That is what makes strength show up outside the gym instead of only in the lift. Nothing here is an aesthetic routine and nothing is one-size-fits-all.
Is this only strength training?
No. Lifting is one of the tools. A coach also works on how your joints hold position under load, how fast you produce force, and how long you can keep doing it. Which of those you get depends on what the assessment found.
It is also why the work does not have a finish line. A body that gets used drifts, so we run the screen again as you go and change the program off what it shows.
Do I get screened more than once?
Yes, and it is the part that makes the rest work. We run it again as you go and set the new picture beside the last one, so what changed is visible instead of assumed.
A plan built off an assessment from a year ago was written for a body you no longer have.
How long is a session?
About an hour, with five to ten athletes to a coach.
Is it one to one, or a group?
You train in a scheduled group slot, but the training itself is individual. No two people on the floor are doing the same program, and a coach is working with you throughout.
Are the coaches hands on?
Yes. Your coach watches your sets, corrects them, and changes the weight when it is time. Nobody trains here off a printed sheet.
Will I always have the same coach?
Not necessarily, and that is deliberate. Session notes, injuries and changes are written down, so any coach on the floor can pick your program up where the last one left it.
Do you do sport specific programs?
No. What holds most athletes back is how they move, not a shortage of drills that look like their sport. A coach works on the movement, and the sport gets easier on its own.
How do I book a session?
Through the MARR STRENGTH app. Download it, log in, tap Schedule Classes and pick your time. Booking closes an hour before the session starts.
The app is required. It is how sessions are booked, how progress is tracked and how we reach you.
Can parents watch?
Usually not, and it is a space problem rather than a policy about parents. We ask that you wait outside unless we have arranged something with you.
Do you do custom plans or discounts?
No. Instead there are flexible ways to train, including session cards and adjustable scheduling, which cover most of what a custom arrangement would have been for.
If that answered it, the next step is telling us what is going on.
Start hereWhat can I book?
- MARR Evaluation. The full look, and where the plan comes from. Not required.
- Physical therapy. Getting you back under load after something has gone wrong.
- Chiropractic. For a joint that has stopped moving through its range.
- Massage. Soft tissue work on whatever has been taking the strain.
- Dry needling. A thin needle into muscle that will not let go on its own.
- Corrective session. Hands on, on the treatment table, working the specific finding.
More on all of them on the practice page.
Do I have to be a member?
No. Appointments are open to anybody, whether or not you train here.
Do you take insurance?
No. Physical therapy can be paid for with an HSA or FSA card.

I do not know which one I need.
That is the normal situation and it is what the form is for. Describe what is going on and we will tell you which one of these you need, or whether you need one at all.
